I am considering developing two presentations for insurance professionals to make to high school students and their families. I’d be interested in your feedback at the survey linked below.
The survey consists of two Yes/No questions that will literally take less than a minute to respond to.
I’m considering developing a presentation focused on auto insurance and related issues for high school sophomores and juniors and their parents. The package would include a PowerPoint, presenter notes, and handouts. The materials could be customized and branded for you or your business.
I’m considering another presentation designed for high school juniors and seniors, especially those about to head to college, and their parents on homeowners, auto, and umbrella. The package would include a PowerPoint, presenter notes, and handouts. The materials could be customized and branded for your or your business.
The survey, again, requires only a Yes/No answer to two questions. If you have any questions of your own or comments about these proposals, please use the Comments section below to provide feedback. Thanks!

How about integrating a pitch for RMI careers and college education into the presentations? We need more young people (besides just children of current RMI professionals) to consider and deliberately pursue RMI career paths.
Could be. I view these presentations as a foot in the door. Many high schools have a career day of some kind and if the students know you, you’ll probably get a more receptive audience.
Yes and Yes
My son’s school has an 8th grade Career Day every year. I did a presentation to 3 sets of 8th graders on the Insurance industry career options and it went over really well. I’d love to have some support materials and options to include and refine my presentation the next time I participate in the Career Day event.
Jamie, as soon as I do something, I’ll post about it on my blog. I don’t have a target date yet for working on this. I’m working on a book at the moment and it might be several months before I can get to this.
