Your PAP customer wrecks a dealer’s car that he has possession of as a loaner or is test driving. The dealer’s insurer pays the claim, less the deductible, then subrogates against your customer. Your customer’s insurer denies all of the claim except maybe for reimbursing the deductible. Your insured is out THOUSANDS. What to do?
A customer was riding his bicycle along a public street and was hit by a car and killed (actual Iowa claim). Under an auto policy (probably personal auto but possibly business auto), is there coverage for medical payments and, if the other party is at fault but un(der)insured, for UM/UIM recovery?
